Mark Tremonti's Alter Bridge offshoot, Tremonti, has announced details of a European tour.

The 17-date Euro trek, in support of the outfit's second album, "Cauterize", will take place in November and December and will visit venues in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Holland and the UK.

Tremonti recently said of the album:

It's mostly influenced by a mix of being in the back of mum’s car, listening to 70s soft rock and then growing up, then being a Slayer fan and Celtic Frost fan.

I love black metal, speed metal, the thrash movement. You mix that with 70s soft rock so you've got the melody combined with the thrash – that's what I love."

The European tour will feature bassist Tanner Keegan, who replaces Wolfgang Van Halen due to a scheduling conflict with his uncle's band, Van Halen.

In a statement announcing his exit to focus on Van Halen’s dates, the bassist revealed, “I look forward to seeing all the Tremonti fans on the road as soon as my schedule permits.”
