(PRESS RELEASE): Acoustic Amplification has introduced two new additions to their acclaimed A-Series line, the A40 and A1000 Acoustic Instrument Amplifiers.

Expressly designed to bring out the nuance and natural detail of acoustic instruments and vocals, these new A-Series amps combine Acoustic's crystal-clear sound with high quality coaxial speakers, rugged construction, and feature-rich design to deliver a lightweight, portable, all-in-one performance solution for today's acoustic musician.

The A40 features wedge-style cabinetry, and the A1000 can be tilted back for flexible monitoring. Both feature combo inputs (XLR & ¼") with independent level controls, along with built-in EQ, integrated DSP effects, and the same advanced tone shaping control that has made Acoustic "the Pro's Tone" since 1967.

The A40 Acoustic Instrument Amp is a full-featured, compact amplifier packing 40 Watts of power with a full-range 8-inch coaxial speaker for pristine acoustic tone. Connect a microphone or any acoustic-electric instrument via its two front-panel combo inputs, each with its own independent level control. The A40 features on-board 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange, programmable digital effects with LCD readout, and Acoustic's acclaimed automatic feedback elimination circuit.

The A1000 is a 100 Watt (2 x 50 watt) 2-channel amp with true-stereo Class D amplification powering two 8" coaxial Neodymium drivers for lightweight and easy portability. Each of the A1000's two discrete channels is equipped with a pair of combo input jacks, giving you a total of four inputs for instruments or vocals. The A1000 offers two separate 3-band EQs, each with sweepable midrange, as well as two independent programmable digital effects processors with LCD readout, plus automatic feedback elimination on each channel.

Both the A40 and A1000 also feature Bluetooth connectivity for a quick and ultra-easy way to add backing tracks via any mobile device. And both amps are equipped with a professional grade direct output for each channel, with ground lift, pre/post EQ select, and level controls, enabling you to connect to powered speakers for an ultra-portable stereo PA system.=

"These new A-Series amps are perfect for the musician on the go," observes Rick Gagliano, Acoustic Product Merchandise Manager. "Acoustic amps have always offered incredible tonal control, and these new models take it even further, with great sounding speakers, amazing DSP, and more than enough power to fill the room. With their slant cabinets, they make a great stage amp, or a perfect mini-PA."

The new A-Series amps are available at all Guitar Center stores, guitarcenter.com, or through Musician's Friend
