The North West Guitar Show Returns to Haydock Park Racecourse Exhibition Centre

The North West Guitar Show returns to Haydock Park Racecourse Exhibition Centre, Newton-le-Willows, Cheshire, WA12 0HQ on Sunday 17th May, 10am to 4.30pm. 

Now in its 18th year, this is one of the biggest guitar shows in the UK featuring more than 100 exhibitors in four halls with bargains in new, secondhand and vintage guitars, amps, effects and accessories. Live music with bands and solo performers all day. Admission is £7.00, pay on the door. (Accompanied under-12's free). Free parking. Licensed bar and cafe.

The event brings together major retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique specialists and even private collectors all with bargains in everything guitar related. It is a unique opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories and to be entertained by live music from top guitarists in the 400 seater live music hall.

Scheduled for the live stage this year is a tribute to the music of Jimi Hendrix by Cassidy Guitars' sensational three-piece band plus Patrick Eggle Guitars presents a performance by The Paul Bielatowicz Band (with Simon Fitzpatrick on bass) - incredible virtuosos playing stunning electric rock arrangements of classical showpieces. (Paul is currently touring with Carl Palmer (ELP) and is known for his columns in Guitar Techniques magazine.)

Also, John Verity - legendary blues rocker and former Argent frontman who has shared stages with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and many others - will be playing Fret-King Guitars and the new Thomas Blug Amp1 while D'Addario showcases Rodney Branigan - brilliant acoustic player, singer/songwriter - one man, two guitars! 

Sound Affects Music present ace session guitarist JAMES ROBERTS with the latest Roland/Boss products.
