NAMM 2015: Limited Edition Versions of Best-Selling Cordoba GK Studio Now Available

(PRESS RELEASE): Cordoba is excited to introduce the GK Studio Limited, a new spin on their longstanding best seller. It joins the GK Studio and GK Studio Negra, both stage-ready flamenco guitars featuring a slightly thinner neck, deep cutaway, and Fishman Presys Blend onboard electronics. The rich, smooth sound of ziricote pairs nicely with the GK Studio Limited’s solid spruce top for an overall fantastic tone. Ziricote is similar in appearance to rosewood, but has olive green and gray highlights, as opposed to the reddish tones often found in rosewood. This darker colored wood makes the GK Studio Limited a “negra” flamenco model. “Negra” guitars have become more popular in recent years, and tend to offer a deeper, bassier tone in comparison with “blanca” guitars, which are built with lighter colored and brighter sounding woods like cypress and maple.
