Chris Cornell and Tom Morrello to Reunite for 15 Now Campaign

Audioslave bandmates Chris Cornell and Tom Morello have revealed they plan to perform at a benefit show together later this month.

The pair, who enjoyed a six year stint performing as Audioslave following the break ups of Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine, will reunite in Seattle on September 26th.

The reunion will feature Morello performing as his Nightwatchmen alias with Cornell appearing as guest vocalist during the upcoming acoustic show.

Many had doubts over relations between the pair following their split in 2007 with Cornell stating he left the supergroup due to “personal conflicts as well as musical differences.” Morello was then quoted as saying he had never officially been told off Chris' departure or the band's split.

However times change and things have now moved and last month Morello attended Cornell's 50th birthday with bassist Tom Commerford.

The reunion will raise funds and awareness of the 15 Now campaign, which aims to raise the US minimum wage to $15 per hour.
