Slash has penned an original and frightful soundtrack for Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights' new 3D maze.
The epitome of the hard working musician, you would think that with a new album slated for September and the inevitable gruelling tour schedule which will accompany, the former GN'R slayer would be taking things easy.
However, this isn't so with Slash's ‘Clowns 3D Music by Slash,’ set to premiere on Sept. 19 as part of the annual ‘Halloween Horror Nights' opening.
“I’m a HUGE fan of ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ and was inspired to partner with Universal Studios Hollywood because they are the founders of creating extreme horror,” explains Slash. “I’ve been composing music for as long as I can remember and jumped at the chance to be an integral part of this year’s event and create the original score for this creepy clown maze. I can’t wait to see the fans’ reactions and will be first in line to experience the maze myself.”
In the past Universal Studios have enlisted the likes of Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie to take part in the popular Halloween attraction. However this is the first time the studios has approached an artist to compose and original score for the three night stint.
The attraction will open on September 19th at Universal Studios Hollywood.
