Fargen’s New Townhouse 20 Hits the Stage

Fargen Amplification is now shipping the new Townhouse 20 combo amplifiers.  Initially debuting at the 2014 NAMM Show, the new combo is the company’s response to customer inquiries about making last year’s micro-sized class A Townhouse 5 watt head into a “gig ready” combo.

Hand built in the USA, the Townhouse 20 features a new 2 x 6V6 20-watt power amp in a compact 1 x 12" grab-and-gig compact combo design. The two-way Decade Switch features a 50′s setting with vintage tweed-inspired tones, and a 60′s setting inspired by brownface tones providing musicians essentially, two-amps-in-one with boutique quality and tone.

Detailed specs include:

  • 20 watt 2 x 6V6 power amp
  • 2 x 12AX7 preamp design
  • GZ34 rectifier
  • Controls: Volume Decade Tone Master
  • 16g aluminum chassis
  • Mercury custom vintage replica transformers
  • Fargen Custom shop carbon comp resistors
  • SoZo Vintage signal capacitors
  • New vintage compact style combo aesthetics
  • Hand wired vintage layout and construction

MSRP $1,599 (£955.00)
