North West Guitar Show have confirmed that Paul Kossoff's 1959 sunburst Gibson Les Paul will be joining the Peter Green/Gary Moore guitar on the main stage at the North West Guitar Show on Sunday 18th May at Haydock Park Racecourse Exhibition Centre.
This is the guitar that was owned by Paul Kossoff of blues rock pioneers Free when he passed away in 1976. It was given by the family to a guitarist from the North East of England who was a friend of Paul and he has owned it ever since.
So now, not just one, but TWO world famous, iconic guitars will be featured at the Show being played and discussed by guitar expert, collector, historian and writer, Phil Harris with a band.
This is a unique opportunity to see and hear two historic guitars in public. There are very few instruments in the world as special as these and we are incredibly proud that they will BOTH be displayed at the Show.
