Dean Markley USA Adds YouTube Sensation Dustin Prinz to the Family

Dean Markley USA Adds YouTube Sensation Dustin Prinz to the Family -

Dean Markley announces the addition of Dustin Prinz to their artist roster. As an up and coming indie artist, Dean Markley USA looks to Dustin to help further expand the company’s market share and help raise Dustin’s visibility in the world of guitar and entertainment.

Dustin Prinz is a singer/songwriter from Oklahoma City. His unique musical style is comprised of percussive guitar techniques, intricate flat picking, passionate vocal melodies, and insightful lyrics. His third release, ELEVEN debuted this past January  and follows his two previously released full-length albums, Learning to Love Yourself, and Drugs. Combined, the three albums showcase his competence as a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist. Through his YouTube channel, he has received millions of views and over 22,000 subscribers, Dustin's unique talents are being discovered by enthusiastic fans worldwide and Dean Markley USA is honored to have him as part of the family.

Dustin is currently using Dean Markley’s Helix line. With over a year of research and development, Helix strings use a precise elliptical shape for the winding wire. The shape then has to be paired with the correct winding process. The hyper-elliptical winding process results in an increased number of wraps along the length of the string. This increases the mass of the string without changing its diameter or material. More mass makes a fuller tone; more windings give a smoother feel as well as a brighter, more resonant tone.  Additional benefits of the hyper-elliptical windings are a relaxed feel and less unwanted noise. The strings are designed to last much longer without sacrificing tone and performance.
