NAMM 2014: Bugera’s Vintage Series Adds Turbosound & Infinium Technology

NAMM 2014: Bugera’s Vintage Series Adds Turbosound & Infinium Technology -

PRESS RELEASE: Bugera are extending the Company’s Infinium Tube Life Multiplier Technology to the Vintage amp product line, and upgrading select combo models with world-famous Turbosound speakers. These new features are now available in 3 new Infinium combos, the V55, V22 and V5 – and two new Infinium heads, the V55HD and V22HD. Revolutionary Infinium Tube Life Multiplier Technology constantly monitors and tweaks output performance – extending power tube lifespan up to 20 times. It also takes the guesswork out of tube service, illuminating an LED to indicate which tube is nearing the end of its lifespan.

Hand-built and armed with 55 Watts, the Bugera Infinium V55 combo and V55HD head exude vintage sound and style, but possess modern features designed to launch the user’s tone into the sonic stratosphere. Loaded with 3 x 12AX7 preamp and 2 x 6L6 power tubes, these boutique-style powerhouses provide 2 independent channels and selectable reverb, both switchable via the included heavy-duty footswitch. Add to this an amazing 12” Turbosound speaker, and the V55 Infinium becomes an extraordinarily versatile tone-machine that is ideally suited for the studio, stage, practice room and concert hall.

The Bugera Infinium V22 and V22HD head 2-channel amps are loaded with 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and a 2 x EL84 output stage for 22 Watts of tube-soaked tone. Both models feature a classic design that provides everything from sweetly-purring blues to mind-blowing crunch. The combo’s custom-engineered Turbosound 12″ speaker faithfully reproduces all of the classic vintage sound guitarists create.

An ideal practice and recording amp, the V5 Infinium features single 12AX7 and EL84 tubes, serving up 5 Watts of Class-A output through a class-leading Turbosound 8” speaker. The highly versatile and compact Vintage V5 Infinium is the ultimate portable tone-machine – with a distinctive classic look and feel.

To say they are versatile is an understatement, when it comes to our new Vintage Series combos and heads,” said Product Manager Jan Duwe.

The Infinium technology ensures you get every drop of the tone you want, and you get much better tubes performance and lifespan. And thanks to the addition of Turbosound speakers – these combos sound absolutely incredible!”

The Bugera Infinium V55, V55HD, V22, V22HD and V5 are available at a suggested U.S. MAP of $479.99, $399.99, $399.99, $329.99 and $229.99 respectively – and are covered by Music Group’s 3-Year Limited Warranty Program.
