Watch Metallica Perform 'Kill 'Em All' in Full at Orion Music + More Festival -

Footage of Metallica's surprise afternoon show at this year's Orion Music + More Festival has surfaced online.

The video, which is just over 50 minutes long, features the Bay Area thrash legends performing their 1983 classic album 'Kill 'Em All' in full

This year's festival was held in Detroit at Belle Isle and included five stages of metal, punk and dubstep with more than 30 bands performing. On the first night of the two day event Red Hot Chili Peppers headlined whist Metallica wrapped up the weekend fiesta on the Sunday evening. 

In the video, which can be viewed in full below, James Hetfield appears on stage to introduce a 'mystery band' by the name of Dehaan. As a rumbles of cheers and whistles begin to build it's clear that the majority of the crowd are well aware of what is about happen. The guitarist is then joined by the remaining members Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo before ripping in to 'Hit The Lights.'
