Brian May and Slash Release 'Badger Swagger'

Brian May, Sir David Attenborough & Slash Form Badger 'Supergroup' -

Queen's Brian May and Slash have collaborated on a new track which they will use as part of May's anti-badger-cull campaign.

May has also recruited naturist Sir David Attenborough and Shara Nelson of Massive Attack to form the collective, The Artful Badger and Friends.

According to the guitarist the UK government's planned badger cull won't solve growing health problems amongst British cattle stock, as has already been claimed. May also argues that the cull is inhumane.

He says:

"We created this track and music video together to raise awareness on the needless, unscientific, cruel and unwarranted slaughter of one of the British Isles' most beloved and unique creatures.

"Backed by politics and fear - not science nor public opinion - this expensive and ineffective cull could well cause more problems than it cures. Even Sir David Attenborough says so."

Badger Swagger is on sale now via  iTunes - find out more about the  anti-cull campaign.
