Black Sabbath’s '13' Makes UK No 1

Black Sabbath's '13' Makes UK No.1 -

The new album from Black Sabbath '13' has gone straight to No.1 in the UK album charts.

Ozzy says

"I'm in shock. The success of this album has blown me off my feet. We've never had a record climb the charts so fast."

'13' has sold 13,000 more copies than Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye, who are currently perched at No.2 with 'BE.' The last time Ozzy Osbourne and co reached the UK top spot was in October 1970 with their second album 'Paranoid.'

Black Sabbath are reportedly also headed for their first US No. 1 album with their latest release, which also debuted at #4 in Australia, giving the band their first top 10 in the country in 40 years.
