Iron Maiden to Launch 'Trooper' Beer

Iron Maiden to Launch 'Trooper' Beer -

Iron Maiden will launch their very own brand of Trooper beer in select Robinson pubs in the UK on the evening of May 9, reports  HenneMusic.

A recent report by UK tabloid The Sun says the product is experiencing record sales in advance of its official launch, with Robinson brewers having to work a six-day weeks to keep up with demand by metal loving beer fans.

The company is brewing three batches a day for the first time in its near 200-year history.

"We haven't spent a single penny on advertising," said David Bremner of Robinsons. "This is history in the making for brewing."

The beer has been named after Maiden classic 'The Trooper,' which featured on 1983s 'Piece Of Mind,' and was produced with the help of vocalist Bruce Dickinson.

Over a quarter of a million pints have been pre-sold in the UK alone, and more than 100 countries have applied to stock Trooper beer.
