Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard Unveils New Solo Tracks

Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard Unveils New Solo Tracks -

Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard has unveiled two new tracks from his upcoming solo album 'Moonlander.'

The tracks, entitled 'Moonlander' and 'I Need Something Different' are Gossard's first solo releases since 2001's 'Bay Leaf' wit Goassard's second solo album set to be released on 25th June via Monkeywrench Records.

Gossard told Spin Magazine (via Classic Rock):

"I like to write music - exploring with lyrics and figuring out how to make complete songs is fun."

When discussing his new album Stone reveals that he has gone through more than 60 ideas since his early 200 outing, although he maintains that not one thing has changed about his approach, he said:

"The things I was attracted to then are still the same things I'm attracted to now - oddball riffs that strike my ear as being different.

"But I think that I was focused much less on lyrics then. Now I'm fascinated by how a lyric can really impact a song."

Gossard's bandmate Mike McCready recently revealed that the band's next album is almost complete, explaining:

"The fans will hear what we are and where we are. It's going to be to their liking, I think - it is to us. Some of the standout tracks on there are pretty amazing."
