Q.O.T.S.A Reveals Plans for 'Extensive' World Tour -
Desert rock titans Queens Of The Stone Age have announced plans for an 'extensive' world tour.
The Palm Desert rockers will release their much-anticipated new album, '...Like Clockwork', through their new label home, Matador Records in June and are planning on embarking on a mammoth world trek in support of the new record.
Any details regarding the tour are yet to be announced, however Josh Homme and co are set to perform a plethora of festival dates throughout 2013 kicking off this weekend at Lollapalooza Brazil.
During the summer they will perform dates at Download in the UK, Southside and Hurricane Festivals in Germany, Peace and Love Festival in Sweden, Rock The Beach in Finland, Rock A Field in Luxembourg, Roskilde in Denmark, Open'er Festival in Poland, Volt Festival in Hungary and Benicàssim in Spain.
Over the past few months the Q.O.T.S.A have cryptically drip-feed fans and the music press with details of the forthcoming album and a new press release confirms a number of guest stars set to appear on the new album, including Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner, Dave Grohl, Elton John, Trent Reznor and Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters.
Previous Queens Of The Stone Age collaborators Mark Lanegan and ex-member Nick Oliveri will also appear on the album along with UNKLE's James Lavelle.
'...Like Clockwork' was recorded at Pink Duck Studios in Burbank and produced by frontman Joshua Homme alongside the rest of the band.
