Guns n’Roses, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees Members Form New Band

Guns n'Roses, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees Members Form New Band -

A new outfit made up of some of the 90's biggest alt-rock bands has formed and are currently working on their debut album.

The as-yet untitled group will feature Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Duff McKagan (Guns n'Roses) and drummer Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) and will not feature a permanent singer, instead opting for a series of guest performances.

Drummer Martin explained to Billboard (via ClassicRockMagazine) how the band come about:

"Mike and I were putting together this Mad Season collection. Duff and I were starting the Walking Papers album which we'd asked Mike to play on.

I had a whole bunch of song ideas; Mike had a whole bunch; and Duff had a whole bunch that were not making it into Walking Papers. We decided we'd go into the studio and record them."

Just who will feature as 'guest vocalist' is still undecided, however, it is understood Killing Joke's Jazz Coleman has been sounded out on the project.
