Queens Of The Stone Age Issue Fourth 'Letter' to UK Music Press

Queens Of The Stone Age Issue Fourth 'Letter' to UK Music Press -

Queens of the Stone Age continue with their rather cryptic promotional campaign for their much anticipated new album.

The stoner-rock set, who's last album 'Era Vulgaris' was released in 2007, have now sent a fourth letter to a UK based music magazine that is once again littered with abstruse clues and messages that eager fans have now began analysing.

The first letter was published by Mojo in December (2012) with the band then sending further letters to both NME and Uncut in January of this year. However, the most recent has been issued to Kerrang! and reads:

"DEAR KERRANG,

...SOME THINGS YOU CAN'T FIX SO...

ON THIS RECORD WE CAME TO A REALIZATION: THE BESTTRICK OF ALL, IS NO TRICK AT ALL

THE SONGS ARE A REAL TIME DOCUMENT OF THE MANIC UPS AND DOWNS OF THE LAST YEAR. IT CAN'T ALWAYS RUN LIKE CLOCKWORK. SO RATHER THAN CONTROL THE DIRECTION OF THE RECORDINGS, WE DECIDED TO RIDE SHOTGUN ON OUR EMOTIONAL BANDWAGON. WE EMBRACED OUR EVIL, HELD THE HORRIBLE, LICKED THE LUNACY AND BLEW THE BEAUTIFUL. AS A RESULT, WE'RE ON CLOUD 9.

I CAN'T WRITE ANYMORE CAUSE MY PHONE'S DYING,

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE"
