Dave Ellefson Donates Bass Strings to 'Wear Your Music Organization'

Guitar Interactive Interview with Megadeth's Dave Ellefson

Dave Ellefson Donates Bass Strings to 'Wear Your Music Organization' -

A new charity initiative in aid of the MusiCares organization has been backed and given the full support of Megadeth founding bassist Dave Ellefson.

The 'Wear Your Music Organization' is the brainchild of Steve Bernstein and Hanna Garrison and the 'Wear Your Music Artist Bracelet' concept encourages the world's biggest musicians, such as Eric Clapton, Steve Vai, Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Lang and now Dave Eleffson, to donate their guitar strings to the company in order to craft unique bangle-style bracelets.

The bracelets are made available to purchase from the 'Wear Your Musicwebsite with 100% of profits going to the charity of the artists choice. In keeping with the company's eco-friendly attitudes, all bracelets bear the artist's initials stamped on 99.9% pure silver and are packaged in recycled DVD cases donated by Washington-based Greendisk.
