RATM's Tom Morrello to Join Bruce Springsteen on Tour -
A temporary line-up change to Bruce
Springsteen's E Street Band has been
announced.
Rage Against The Machine's Tom
Morello will replace Steve Van Zandt on
the Australian leg of the 'Wrecking Ball' world
tour.
Van Zandt, a long-time friend of Springsteen and E Street member,
is currently filming series 2 of the highly successful Lilyhamer,
in which he plays former mob-boss turned informant Frank "The
Fixer" Tagliano.
Following the Australian shows, which run from March 14th through
until the 31st, Van Zandt will then return to the tour on April
29th in Oslo, Norway.
Morello is also set to perform at the 2013 MusiCares benefit gala
honouring Springsteen.
The Boss is set to play a number of UK and Ireland dates over the
summer in support of 'Wrecking Ball.' The shows
will take place at London's Wembley Stadium on June 15 2013,
Glasgow Hampden Park on June 18 and Coventry Ricoh Arena on June
20.
Springsteen will then visit mainland Europe before heading to to Ireland to play Limerick Thomond Park on July 16, Cork Páirc Uí Chaoimh on July 18 and Belfast King's Hall on July 20.
