Black Sabbath Announce New Album Title '13' -
Black Sabbath has announced that their new
album will be titled '13,' according to NME.
The new album will be the first from the heavy-metal pioneers
since 1978's 'Never Say Die!' album which marked the last
time Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi
and Geezer Butler recorded together.
Back in November, Tony Iommi revealed to
The Guardian that the final album will feature 15 tracks
saying:
'We've written the 15 songs and we've played them all, but now at
the moment we're recording them. We're about six tracks in at the
moment.'
The come-back record has been primarily recorded in Los Angeles
with producer Rick Rubin (Johnny
Cash, Metallica, System Of A
Down) and also features Rage Against The
Machine's Brad Wilk, who replaces
Bill Ward on drums.
In related news Black Sabbath have also revealed
that in advance of their new album release, the band will perform
in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
