Nikki Sixx Reveals 'The Heroin Diaries' is Being Made into a Broadway Play -

Mötley Crüe & Sixx AM bassist Nikki Sixx has revealed that his infamous 2007 memoir 'The Heroin Diaries' will be made into a Broadway play.

Sixx took to his personal Twitter and Facebook outlets to announce the news, he tweeted:

'Ive been getting asked this a lot lately…The answer is: Yes,"The Heroin Diaries" book is being turned into a broadway play.'

He added:

'More news to follow in the next few months....Were getting pretty far down the road...We hope for a late 2013 or early 2014 for it to open...'

'The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star' is a book co-written by Nikki Sixx and Ian Gittins. The book is comprised of diary entries written by Sixx from Christmas 1986 to Christmas 1987 and chronicles the recording of Mötley Crüe's 'Girls, Girls, Girls' album and the subsequent 'Girls, Girls, Girls' tour, culminating in Sixx's near-death from a heroin overdose.
