Machine Head to Release 'Machine Fucking Head Live!' in November

Machine Head to Release 'Machine Fucking Head Live!' in November -

California metal godfathers, Machine Head will be releasing a brand new live album, 'Machine Fucking Head Live' on 12th November through Road Runner Records.

Machine Head are arguably one of the best live bands in the hard rock and metal world and have been mesmerising audiences for the last two decades with their hard hitting brand of thrash inspired groove metal.

The new live album will be the second live effort from the current line up of Robb Flynn, Adam Duce, Dave McClain and Phil Demmel. Their previous live offering, 'Hellalive' was released in 2003. However, in the past nine years Machine Head have released three albums - 'Through the Ashes of Empires' (03), 'The Blackening' (07) & 'Unto the Locust' (11) -  and are undoubtedly, at present, the peak of their prowess.

'Machine Fucking Head Live' was recorded at various tour stops around the globe last year whilst the band toured new album 'Unto the Locust'. It includes a slew of classic tracks from the band's expansive catalogue, including 'Imperium', 'Aesthetics of Hate', 'Locust', 'Ten Ton Hammer', 'This is the End' and 'Halo.'

"The Head Cases [Machine Head's nickname for their fans] have been so intense on this tour cycle that we had to start capturing the shows, especially with technology making it so much easier to record," said frontman Robb Flynn. "We culled some of the best nights where the band and crowd were on fire and made a badass, nearly two-hour, double live album, which is a great documentation of where the band is at, 18 years deep."
