Thin Lizzy to Début New Tracks in Dublin

Thin Lizzy to Début New Tracks in Dublin -

Thin Lizzy are looking to debut their first batch of new songs when they perform in Dublin in December, according to Classic Rock Magazine.

The tracks will feature on the band's new album, their first without influential founder, leader and bassist Phil Lynott.

The current Lizzy line up of veterans Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton along with former Almighty frontman Ricky Warwick, Marco Mendoza and Damon Johnson will begin working with producer Kevin Shirley in a fortnight.

Gorham tells Hot Press:

"I'll be going out to Los Angeles at the end of the month to work on some songs with Damon Johnson, then we'll start recording in Kevin's studio.

"We're all excited about the new record - but especially Ricky Warwick and Damon. You have six guys that are chomping at the bit. We can't wait to get this thing going."

He says of the Dublin show:

"Hopefully we're going to cook up a couple of songs. I think that would be a good thing to do. I hope I'm not talking too soon."
