Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Queen & Deep Purple
Members Perform at Sunflower Jam -
Members of Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Queen & Deep Purple all performed at the sixth annual Sunflower Jam charity concert in London this past weekend (Sept.16).
The event, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall, featured John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Brian May (Queen) and Ian Paice (Deep Purple). There were also musical contributions from Alice Cooper, Micky Moody (Whitesnake) and Mark King (Level 42).
The show kicked off with Brian May and West End star Kerry Ellis performing a number of acoustic songs, after several numbers and a cover of Guns N' Roses 'November Rain' by Sandi Thom, Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson appeared to perform Thin Lizzy's 'Emerald' and The Who's 'Behind Blue Eyes'.
Later on in the showcase rock legends Jones, May and Paice all partnered up for a rendition of Deep Purple's 'Black Night', while May also played guitar during Alice Cooper's performance of 'School's Out'.
