Jackson Releases All-New JS Series Kelly Bird Basses -

Brand new body shapes inspired by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.

The Bloodline has announced two new additions to its JS Series, the JS2 Kelly Bird IV and the JS3 Kelly Bird IV. These new and highly distinctive designs are the result of a longtime collaboration between two metal icons, Jackson guitars and legendary Megadeth bass player David Ellefson.

The JS2 Kelly Bird IV offers striking looks coupled with pummeling tones. Features include a basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, Jackson's unrivaled compound radius, dual Jackson JS high-output covered pickups, Jackson high-mass bridge and Jackson tuners. Available in Burnt Cherry Sunburst and Matte Black.

Designed with the serious metal bass player in mind, the JS3 Kelly Bird IV features a basswood body (flame maple top on trans finishes), bolt-on maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets and block inlays, dual Jackson JS high-output covered pickups, three-band active EQ (bass/mid/high), Jackson high-mass bridge and Jackson tuners. Available in Trans Black and Trans Blue Burst.
