Machine Head Leave Label Home

Machine Head Leave Label Home -

Machine Head frontman, Rob Flynn has revealed in a recent interview that the band have parted ways with label home, Roadrunner Records.

This now means that the Oakland thrash-metal icon's latest album, 'Unto The Locust,' will be their last release with the world renowned hard rock & metal imprint, whose roster boasts the likes of Rush, Korn, Dream Theatre, Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage.

Machine Head, who will headline Bloodstock Open Air this August, have been with Roadrunner for their entire career and have been hugely influential in the success of the label. However, earlier this year (2012) Roadrunner was sold to Warner Music Group, which subsequently led to the closure of many of its offices and the loss of jobs, including that of A&R power house Monte Conor.
