DC Developments Launch the Cornell PedalAmp -
The 4watt rms PedalAmp from Cornell is a testament to British hand-built custom amplifier technology, designed with the gain equivalent of the legendary Cornell Plexi-seven and the clean tones of the company's Romany pre amp range.
Built to impeccably high standards within a sturdy, fortress-like polished stainless steel housing, the Cornell PedalAmp is far from a one-function stomp box.
For Boost or Overdrive -
The mains powered PedalAmp can be used conventionally for boost or overdrive utilising the classic tone formula of two ECC83 (12AX7) valves, renowned for their high gain and low noise in the pre amp section, feeding rich, fat overtones to the warm, sparkling tonal characteristics of an EL84 in the output stage. If required, higher levels of saturation are reached via an additional EQ Cut footswitch.
As an amp/pre
Whilst the EQ layout is simplicity itself with Gain, Treble, Bass and Master Output identified with pointy chicken head controls, the PedalAmp delivers a full 4watts rms, easily driving stand-alone speaker cabinets or warming up the front end of any amp.
Studio/ Live -
The Cornell PedalAmp has been designed to achieve optimum amplifier performance. Connect straight into the PA or mixing console via the 'Mixer Output' and the PedalAmp delivers pure valve tone, from crystal clean to blues to high rock without signal loss or diffusion with the tonal frequencies.
True bypass, headphone socket, built in speaker simulator and 9volt dc outlets to supply additional effects, are all part of the Cornell PedalAmp's complete package, providing all the tools the serious guitarist needs for every environment.
