Blur to Debut Two New Tracks Live on Twitter -

Blur have announced details on two tracks they're planning to debut on in the Social Media arena of Twitter, reports NME.

The newly reformed outfit will premier the two tracks, 'Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan,' on 2nd July via a live video stream. Both songs have been written for their forthcoming sold-out Olympic Closing Ceremony at London's Hype-Park in which they perform alongside New Order (minus Peter Hook) & The Specials.

The exclusive 2 track performance will be broadcast around the world on Twitter.com/blurofficial at 6:15pm. Both songs will be immediately available to download following an interview with the band. A limited edition double A-side 7-inch single will then be released by Parlophone on August 6.

Speaking on the live video stream performance, Damon Albarn said:

"I wrote these songs for Hyde Park and I'm really excited about getting out there and playing them for people."
