AC/DC Exhibit to Open in Seattle

The American premier of AC/DC exhibit 'Australia's Family Jewels' is to open in Seattle on 28th April and will run until 29th September at the Experience Music Project Museum.

The exhibit, which was developed and first presented by the Arts Centre, Melbourne and the Western Australian Museum, boast over 400 artefacts from the hard-rockers 35 year history. On show will be rare photographs of the band, instruments, gig posters, programmes, show tickets, letters and lyrics, personal memorabilia and costumes, including one of Angus Young's schoolboy outfits dating back to 1975.

The Seattle opening of 'AC/DC: Australia's Family Jewels' will host a discussion with author Anthony Bozza and the EMP's director of curatorial affairs, Jasen Emmons. All female AC/DC tribute band 'Hell's Belles' will also be performing on the opening day.
