This issue’s cover artist is arguably best known as the virtuosic axeman and co-founder of Mr. Big, as well as a member of Los Angeles-based metal outfit Racer X—Paul Gilbert has carved out a seriously impressive solo career with a slew of acclaimed albums like 'Alligator Farm' (2000), 'Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar' (2008) and 'Vibrato' (2012). With his latest (and 15th) solo release 'Behold Electric Guitar,' Paul once again took the show on the road all the way to UK shores, where Guitar Interactive Magazine caught up Pablo Gilberto himself. Sam Bell also offers a superb Paul Gilbert Tech Session in this edition, that is certainly not to be missed.
With an eclectic career spanning nearly 30 years, Ricky Warwick has made a name for himself as a member of a slew of successful hard rock bands like The Almighty, Circus Diablo, Thin Lizzy, and of course, Black Star Riders. Back with a brand new album 'Another State Of Grace' via Nuclear Blast Records, we catch up with the Irish rocker, to chat about the latest release and the band's touring plans for 2020.
