Washburn Guitars announce new additions to its Parallaxe range of electric guitars. These new guitars include the Trevor Rabin (Yes) signature series, Ola Englund signature series, 29-fret PXS models, and PXL, PXS and PXM 100, 200, 1000 and 2000 series guitars at new, lower price points.

Parallaxe is Washburn’s recently introduced metal guitar series focusing on the worldwide rock/metal market and aiming to serve it with dedicated and advanced guitar technology. The line includes features that the most demanding rock/metal players have requested for years. It is stage & studio ready and packed with unique features such as the Stephen’s Extended Cutaway, Buzz Feiten Tuning System, Spring Silencers, big brass trem blocks, super jumbo frets,  EverTune and Babicz bridges and USA hardware & electronics.

The Trevor Rabin signature series consists of two models, the USA Custom Shop built PXM-TR2 and the PXM-TR20.  Both models feature a mahogany body and full access set neck, carved flame maple top, Seymour Duncan '59 & JB pickups and standard Parallaxe features including the Buzz Feiten tuning system, Grover locking tuners and Series/Parallel pickup switching.  The PXM-TR20 is expected to retail at £699 inc VAT.

Finally, Washburn are pleased to introduce the Ola Englund Signature Series.  Ola Englund is widely known for being the guitarist for the bands such as Feared, The Haunted and Six Feet Under. He is also respected amongst the worldwide metal community for his professional YouTube demos. The range consists of 6 and 7 string, 25.5” scale guitars offering the standard Parallaxe features for the most demanding metal players, with the addition of EverTune or Hipshot/style bridges. The Parallaxe Solar Series consists of five USA custom made models and four Indonesian made models starting at just £529 RRP inc VAT for the PX-Solar 160 6-String and £599 RRP inc VAT for the PX-Solar 170 7-String.
