A trio of unreleased live albums by American blues-rockers Canned Heat are set to be released by Cleopatra Records.
Cleopatra will release one live show recorded in 1971 along with two recorded in 1973, kicking things off with "Canned Heat With John Lee Hooker - Carnegie Hall 1971", to be issued on April 14th.
The second album, entitled "Canned Heat - Stockholm 1973", is scheduled for release on May 12th, with the final of the three, entitled "Canned Heat – Illinois Blues 1973", set to be released on July 7.
The Carnegie Hall show, the first of the three releases, will be available on CD as well as on limited edition green vinyl. The live album will also feature a John Lee Hooker-led version of "Tease Me Baby" as well as a bonus track and an interview with Canned Heat drummer Adolfo de la Parra also features.
Canned Heat's post-Alan Wilson lineup feature on the Stockholm 1973 set, while more details of the third and final Illinois show will be releases ahead of the July release.
