The North East Guitar Show 2015

(PRESS RELEASE): For 2015 the North East Guitar Show returns to the superb purpose-built event complex at Rainton Meadows Arena, Mercantile Rd, Houghton-le-Spring DH4 5PH, and will be on Sunday 22nd March from 10am to 4.00pm.

This prestige and spacious location is close to all the North East major routes, provides superb facilities and has the advantage of easy load-in for exhibitors, excellent catering, licensed bar and free parking.

The show is a wonderful opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories. There will be bargains and special show deals. Free appraisals of instruments and amps will be available.

Many major retailers, manufacturers and distributors will be attending together with a host of second-hand and vintage dealers, parts suppliers and luthiers.

Live music, workshops and demos all day:

D'Addario presents The Mitch Laddie Band, the North East's own award winning Blues/Rock sensations.

Virtuoso shredder Gav Coulson rocks out with Fret-King Guitars and the new Thomas Blug Amp1.

For the acoustic contingent Bose will showcase a very special treat with The Hues folk duo - virtuoso playing, superb songs and amazing harmonies

Major local retailer J G Windows presents ace session guitarist, James Roberts, with Roland Boss products hot from the NAMM show. Plus, Blackstar amps and effects workshops and demos with Sam Hirst.

The event is sponsored by JHS, J G Windows, Fret-King Guitars, Vintage Guitars, D'Addario and the Musicians' Union.

A fantastic day out for any guitar enthusiast. Do not miss it!!

Admission £6 at the door. Accompanied under-12's free.
