Takamine Introduces New Hand-Crated Pro Series 3 Models-

Takamine celebrates theintroduction of its new Pro Series 3 acoustic-electric guitars.Each Pro Series instrument is carefully hand-crafted in thefoothills of the Japanese Alps. There, dedicated craftspeoplecreate instruments of unique beauty and sonic excellence.

The seven new Pro Series 3 models include the P3D, P3DC,P3DC-12, P3MC, P3NC, P3NY steel-string and P3FCN classicalacoustic/electric guitars.

All Pro Series 3 guitars feature a solid cedar top, solid sapeleback and sapele sides, scalloped hand-cut "X" bracing for optimumvoicing, a smooth, comfortable all-satin finish and artful woodmarquetry. All feature a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, apin-less rosewood bridge for easy string changes, a split bonesaddle for faultless intonation, and a bone nut and gold machineheads with amber buttons. On-board electronics include the renownedTakamine Palathetic® pickup and the latest-generation CT4B IIthree-band preamplifier.

The P3D non-cutaway 6-string, P3DCcutaway 6-string, and P3DC-12 cutaway 12-string guitars providefull-size Takamine acoustic sound, style and performance, employingresonant tone woods, elegant appointments and state-of-the-artelectronics.

The P3MC orchestra-style model offersversatile dynamics and characteristically strong midrange withelegant styling and smooth playability.

The P3NC delivers the finest acoustic sound, style andperformance from a classic Takamine NEX/grand auditorium-style bodywith an elegant Venetian cutaway.

The performance of the P3NY "New Yorker" parlor-style acousticbelies its diminutive size by offering a clear, full-bodied voiceresounding with sweetness and character.
