Styx Extend 2012 US 'Gran Illusion/Pieces of Eight' Tour-

Following on from their very successful 'Grand Illusion/Pieces ofEight' tour, Styx have now announced they'll be extending the U.Sleg of the tour with a series of shows that'll keep them out on theroad for the duration of the year, reports Ultimate Classic Rock.

The tour will feature performances of the band's 1977 album'The Grand Illusion' and its 1978follow-up, 'Pieces of Eight,' in theirentirety, along with other classic hits from the Chicagoprog-rockers. Fans can expect to hear singles and album hits suchas 'Come Sail Away', 'Renegade', 'Blue CollarMan' and many more.

"This is the most unique Styx concert ever," sayssinger/guitarist Tommy Shaw. "It's a hybrid experience of enjoyingthe artistry of the vinyl album and the energy and of our liveperformance.  Some (of these) songs have never been performedlive!"
