There's not long to go now until Simon Mcbrideheads out on his 15 date UK tour. 

The tour will begin in Glasgow at the O2 ABC before hittingvenues in Newcastle, Bury, Holmfirth, Bilston, Norwich, Cambridge,Brighton, Bristol, Derby, Sandwich, Oxford, Swansea, London andBelfast.

Mcbride shot to prominence a few months after his 16th birthdayafter being recruited by Belfast-based hair metallers SweetSavage to replace founding member VivianCambell.

In an extensive career, which saw McBride win GuitaristMagazine's 'Young Guitarist of The Year' at age 15,the Irish guitarist has opened for and supported the likes ofJoe Satriani, Jeff Beck,Joe Bonamassa and DerekTrucks.

In 2008 Mcbride released his debut album 'Rich ManFalling' on NugeneRecords and the record featured covers of 'Be MyFriend' (Free) and 'Power of Soul'(Jimi Hendrix). In 2010 his follow-up album'Since Then' gained him nominations in the British BluesAward.
