Reading & Leeds Festival Headliners Pledge to Donate to Charity Auction -

This year's Reading & Leeds festival has a formidable line up and some of the biggest names on the bill have pledged to donate memorabilia from the 2012 edition in aid of The Martins House Children's Hospice, reports MetalTalk

Some of the biggest acts on the bill, such as Kasabian, The Cure, Foo Fighters, The Cribs, Enter Shikari & Two Door Cinema Club will donate signed items such as set lists, clothes and instruments, all of which will be displayed prior to the auction at a respected Leeds venue. Bidders will be able to bid on items via the charities official eBay page.

Along with the aforementioned rock goodies available, there is also a framed NME cover of your choice from the last decade of the magazine to bid on.

Kasabian said: "We salute the people of Martin House and contributing something to help them raise some funds is of course something we didn't hesitate. We commend them on all their great work and dedication over the years, make sure you bid for a bit of Reading and Leeds history..."

The charity is based near Wetherby, Leeds and it is hoped the auction could become an annual event.
