A guitar from Megadeth kingpin Dave Mustaine's personal collection is up for auction on Ebay.

The guitar is a rare Dean Zero XO number 42/50, which has been autographed on the front body in black and on the back of the head stock in gold.

The Dean USA Dave Mustaine Zero XO electric guitar was designed by Mustaine in a collaboration with Dean's mastercraftsman. Everything about the Dave Mustaine Zero XO simply works, with the right combination of woods, electronics, and style.

Unique features include a 25-1/2" scale, a modified Z-style body with sharper angles and edges, a special set korina "D-shaped" neck, and a headstock with in-line tuners. Dave Mustaine Duncan Live Wire pickups and the string-through body produce unbeatable sustain. The dual volume, single tone, and 3-way switch is the control configuration that Dave prefers.

With a distressed nitrocellulose lacquer finish and distressed hardware, the Dave Mustaine Dean Zero XO guitar feels like it's been in the family for years. Only 50 of this awesome signature guitar will be produced. Dean includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity with the USA Dave Mustaine Zero XO.
