Rammstein Announced as Sunday's Headline Act at Download2013 -

Berlin's Rammstein are to make their Download Festival debut in 2013with a headline performance on the final day of the festival(Sunday 16th June).

The announcement follows the recent confirmation thatIron Maiden will also be performing at Download2013 on Friday 14th.

Festival promoter Andy Copping said:

"We're excited to welcome Rammstein to Donington for the veryfirst time. They're an epic live act and a perfect Sunday headlinerto cap off what's shaping up to be a fantasticfestival."

However, Rammstein themselves stayed typicallyabstruse when asked their feelings on their first Download slot bysaying:

"It's only a festival - not a moon landing."
