Queensryche Members to Carry on Without Geoff Tate -

Tensions inside of camp Queensrÿche reportedly boiled over lastmonth after vocalist Geoff Tate allegedly pulled a knife on hisbandmates backstage at a concert in Sao Paulo, according toBrazilian website Collector's Room.

Now it seems the band's core members (Michael Wilton, EddieJackson, Scott Rockenfield) have ejected Tate and plan to proceedwithout him under the new name of Rising West.

However, the band will perform two shows with Crimson Glory singerTodd La Torre at the Hard Rock Cafe in their hometown of Seattle.The dates will act as warm up shows for a possible new album andtour with La Torre at the helm, reports MetalTalk.
