Peavey Electronics® packages portability, flexibility and sound in its new MAX® bass amplification series. With durable yet ultra-lightweight construction, the MAX series delivers plenty of power and state-of-the-art tonal quality in each thoughtfully designed cabinet.

One of Peavey's key innovations in the MAX series is the angled baffle, which allows players to direct the sound at their ears and not at their feet. While the low end is omni-directional, the transient is directional, meaning players can hear themselves clearly without having to tilt their amp back. Sophisticated sound is combined with best-in-class power-to-weight ratio, making Peavey's MAX series a smart choice.

Features of the new Peavey MAX bass amp models are as follows:

  • The MAX 100 has a 10-inch woofer and delivers 100 watts. The unit measures 15.5'' wide by 11.75'' high by 17.5'' deep and weighs 24 lbs.
  • The MAX 150 has a 12-inch woofer and delivers 150 watts. The unit measures 16.25'' wide by 12.25'' high by 18.5'' deep and weighs 30 lbs
  • The MAX 250 has a 15-inch woofer with high-end tweeter and delivers 250 watts. The unit measures 18.25'' wide by 13.5'' high by 21'' deep and weighs 45 lbs.
  • The MAX 208 has two 8-inch woofers and delivers 150 watts. The unit measures 10'' wide by 20'' high by 10'' deep and is the standout of the bunch. It only weighs just 33 lbs, enabling players to make a single trip from the car by carrying the cabinet in one hand and their bass in the other.

From nuanced notes to chest-rattling riffs, the MAX bass amp series offers players the tonal capabilities they need. Each model has an open, curved grill design, giving players a huge advantage in tone. The built-in Kosmos-C bass enhancement feature adds harmonics and subharmonics to maximize tone. In addition, the series is built with an advanced version of Peavey's DDTâ„¢ speaker protection technology, which limits clips and is ideal for slapping and other loud playing scenarios.

Whether the player is live on stage, recording or rehearsing, Peavey's MAX series offers players additional helpful features, including bass-specific chromatic tuner for a quick tune-up, an external speaker, EFX loop, and an ultra-quiet DI output that connects with the PA system, helping to retain control and assure a great tone.

With prices ranging from $199 to $449, Peavey's MAX bass amp series offers solutions for every working player, with powerful cabinets that won't break their back or the bank. Learn more at www.peavey.com/maxbass.
