Music icon Peavey Electronics will host astar-studded grand opening of its first showroom in Hollywood nextweekend, Sept. 1-5, with appearances by comics legendStan Lee, guitar virtuosoAlex Skolnick, founderHartley Peavey and more.

Located on Sunset Boulevard's Guitar Row, PeaveyHollywood gives musicians and music fans a new home in theheart of rock & roll, with a green-room vibe, high-end gearfrom the Peavey family of brands to play, andregular performances from world-class artists.Peavey is bringing its 47-year legacy of makingthe amps for music's biggest stars and stages to Hollywood with anew showroom, artist relations headquarters and multimedia dealereducation center.

The grand opening week of Peavey Hollywood willfeature comics legend Stan Lee-who willsign Peavey Marvel electric guitars adorned withSuper Hero graphics-virtuoso guitarist AlexSkolnick (Testament, Alex Skolnick Trio), L.A.'sMetalachi and Thrown Into Exile, acoustic stylist MonteMontgomery, and Peavey Electronicsfounder and CEO Hartley Peavey, who willsign copies of his biography, The PeaveyRevolution (Backbeat Books).

A section of the showroom is dedicated to the history andphilosophy of Hartley Peavey, theindustry's longest-running founder, sole owner and CEO, who builthis first amplifier as a teenager in 1957 and has earned countlessaccolades for his achievements in music product innovation andinternational business. He earned his star on the Hollywood RockWalk of Fame in 1990.
