New Steve Vail Solo Album Due in September -

There's a brand new album on the way from virtuoso guitarist,Steve Vai .

The new record, which will also be supported by a series of UKdates, will be entitled 'The Story of Light.' The album will bereleased on Favoured Nations Entertainment on September 11th (UK).It will mark the 16th solo effort for Vai.

The album, which will be mostly instrumental, will feature guestvocals from singer songwriter, Aimee Mann, who duets with Vai on'No More Amsterdam,' to which she also co-wrote and BeverlyMcClellan, who featured on The Voice (USA). McClellan appears on atrack inspired by a vintage recording of Blind Willie Johnson track'John the Revelator.'

Also featured on the record with Vai's is Dave Weiner(guitar), Jeremy Colson (drums), Philip Bynoe (bass),and DeborahHensen (harp, vocals, keyboards).

Steve will be playing a regional UK tour this December.
