NAMM 2013: Randall Amplifiers Showcase Three all-new Mike Fortin Designed Product Ranges

Randall Amplifiers have unveiled three all-new product ranges atWinter NAMM 2013. The new RG Series, RD Series and ThrasherSeries are the first of a whole new line-up of Randallamplifiers designed with boutique amp guru Mike Fortin in hisnew position as  head of Randall amp design.

The Randall Thrasher Series is aboutmetal, all about metal. This uniquely original Mike Fortin designed120 watt all-tube head and deeply tuned cabinet range is set to bethe standard for over the top gain, tight focused attack andcrushing tone for rhythm, lead and everything in between.

From 1 watt to 100 watts and everything in between, thenew Randall Diavlo (RD) Series offersthe best flavours of all tube high gain tone solutions.  TheRD series are great hard rock amps with a model to suit every levelof player in any environment.

The new Randall RG Series returns tothe original high performance FET circuits that Don Randallfounded the Randall company on and which became the signaturesound for so many influential artists in Randall's 40 plusyear history. Utilising the the infamous RG100 and RG80designs and adding modern improvements and features, Randallonce again offers solid-state transistor amplifiers withincredible sonic performance.

The new RG series includes the Randall RG13Pedal-Amplifier.  The RG13 does it all so you canhave your sound anywhere, through anything. Put it throughyour 4x12 and be blown away at what one watt can do or get amatching RG8 8" extension cab to practice with at home. Use it asa gain/distortion/tone/boost pedal in front of your amp or,plug it into the FX return.  The XLR speaker emulatedoutput is great for recording or sending signal to thePA/Front of House. The loop is switchable with a level controland can be used as an output level boost/cut to control yourlevel in the mix. All of this in a heavy duty metal enclosurewith external power supply and an external 9v power jack forpedals right on the unit.
