Mudhoney to Release 'Live in Berlin 1988' DVD -

A new live DVD featuring Seattle sound pioneers,Mudhoney has been announced and is set to hitshelves on Nov.13 via !K7Records

The concert DVD is made up of newly discovered footage of MarkArm and co as they tear through a 40 minute set at the BerlinIndependent Days festival in 1988 at what was known as 'the firstgrunge gig in Europe.'

Front man Mark Arm previously said on the historic Berlin setsaying:

"We couldn't understand quite why this was happening, why ourswas the band that was flying out, or what was going on. We'd onlyplayed Portland, outside of Seattle, at that point. And to be flownout to Berlin to play a show, at that point, seemed almost like ajoke to us."

The DVD, entitled 'Mudhoney: Live in Berlin1988' will feature the full festival set plus bonusinterview with Arm. The track listing is still yet to be announcedalthough the performance featured material from the then-unreleased'Superfuzz Bigmuff' EP and their self-titled debutalbum.
