Motorhead Discuss Covers Album -
Motorhead's bassist and frontman, LemmyKilmister has revealed in a recent interview with ClassicRock Revisited that the band's next album could be a coversdisc.
According to Lemmy the band, who recently released 'The WorldIs Ours Vol.2 - Anyplace Crazy as Anywhere Else,' havediscussed the possibilities of a covers record but have never madea 'concrete decision' as to whether to go ahead.
The musician tells Classic Rock Revisited (via LoudWire):
"We did discuss it, but we haven't come to a concretedecision on it. It would be fun to do. The three of us are verydifferent when it comes to music, so it would be a very diversealbum. We'd make them all into Motorhead songs, anyway. We've donecovers before."
He (Lemmy) goes on to reveal that despite all the talk of theband's next project, they still don't have any materialready:
"[We don't have any new music] yet. We will just go into thestudio a month before we do the next album and justwrite."
The metal icon recently stated that Motorheadwere eyeing a January studio return.
