Metallica Release Trailer for 3D Concert Film 'ThroughThe Never' -

Metallica have unveiled the first trailer for 3D concert film'Through The Never.'

The film focuses on a young roadie named Trip, played by DanDehaan, who's sent on an errand ahead of a Metallica show only tothen find himself in a hostile parallel universe.

Drummer Lars Ulrich believes they've produced a movie like 'noother,' albeit with the help of director Nimrod Antal.

Ulrich tells I AmRogue:

"When Metallica does these things we have a tendency to jumpforward and we don't plan things through. We need people who arewilling to take those jumps, don't ask too many questions and areready to go along for the ride. Nimrod went for it. I spoke to alot of people in Hollywood about what kind of partner we needed andNimrod was the first one who bought into it.

"We wanted to do a different take on a concert film. Wefigured one way of doing that, a movie we'd never seen before, wasto have a concert and a narrative and to have those worldsinterweave. You follow him closely and you follow the concert andit unwinds in real time. It's unlike anything you've ever seen, andwe're very proud of that."

Actor DeHaan, who recently allowed his name to be used for asecret Metallica set at Orion Music Festival, agrees with thedrummer.

DeHaan says:

"I pretty much have to go through hell and back, and all ofthis is going on during the concert, so it all ties together reallybeautifully and uniquely. It's unlike anything that I've ever seenbefore. It's almost like a concert movie meets The Wall meetsMetallica."

Metallica's 'Through The Never' will open in cinemas this comingSeptember.
