The 14th AnnualNative American Music Awards (NAMAs) took place this pastFriday night at the Seneca Niagara Hotel & Casino NiagaraFalls, New York.

Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist RickeyMedlock was awarded two honours for Best Theme Song for'Native Colors' and for Best Long Form Film for'Homeland Nation.'

"We're so proud of his contributions & achievements!Great job Rickey!" posted the band.

In related news both Lynyrd Skynyrd andBad Company will embark on a co-headline tour thatwill see both bands performing coast-to-coast over 12 dates in theUS.
