Loog Guitars Arrive In The UK

(PRESS RELEASE): Loog Guitars have been creating a stir in the US since founder Rafael Atijas’s hugely successful Kickstarter campaign in 2011. The company’s innovative three-string guitars represent a unique entry-point to the world of guitar for young beginners, but are perfect for grown-ups too. And now the Electric Loog is available in the UK, just in time for the festive season.

Created to make the process of learning to play as simple as possible, the Loog’s diminutive neck and three-string design allows children to play chords with just one finger. Before their hands are big enough to cope with traditional smaller-scale six-string instruments, youngsters can be making music with a Loog. As can adults…

Far from being a toy, the Electric Loog takes its cue from some of the most characterful guitars of the 1960s and its single lipstick pickup is capable of everything from sweet-toned clean sounds to swampy bluesy grunge. Once the kids are in bed, it’s the perfect quirky studio companion.

Arriving in simple kit form, the self-assembly nature of the Electric Loog nurtures a real connection with the guitar, giving children a valuable sense of achievement in playing something they’ve built themselves. Assembly takes around 15-20 minutes and requires only simple tools – electrics are all pre-installed.

Available in a choice of five classic 60s-inpsired colours, the Electric Loog is available directly from www.letthekidsrock.com at a special introductory price of £169 including free UK delivery.

Also available now, the acoustic Loog II features nylon strings and is perfect for budding Ed Sheerans at £135 (introductory price) with free UK delivery.
